"The Angel is a good small hotel in a lovely village with lots of independant shops and good bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit. Pub/Hotel is well appointed rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need for a short stay"

"It was an amazing experience to be in a real castle we chose a cheaper room so we didn’t have an en-suite but a beautiful bathroom in the corridor instead. The owners were so helpful and friendly and we had a very good quality evening meal with beautiful romantic piano music played by the manager and a history talk too. The owner was a beautiful lady who chatted to us in the bar area. We’d like to go again. Breakfast was good."
