"Have often frequented here and very happy witb everything usually. This time though the parking was full due to selfish people taking more than one space for their cars. We had to park in the loading bay. Quick enough to take our parking money on arrival but it seems nobody monitors the car park itself."

"All excellent ! Only disapointment on this visit was checking in , there was only one person on reception and it was about 15.10 pm when I had to wait about 25 minutes to check in because there was a group of tourists checking in together. At that time of day there should have been more than one person on reception !"

"We arrived to be greeted by Andy. He was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was good and the room was clean and fresh. With TV, coffee and tea facilities and free WiFi it was perfect for my stay. It wasn't expensive and I would stay again."

"We've stayed at The Imperial many times before and it's always excellent. Our twin room (205) was very spacious, with a good bathroom and modern TV. There's plenty of parking. Breakfast as always was excellent and the members of staff were very helpful."

"Nice hotel. Great seating outside on the lake and in conservatory- would be better if more seating in conservatory. Pub/bar area itself is very dark and dingy. Seats outside the bar area were nice but not enough - some of the drinks were dear -£16 for a large wine! Food in brasserie was nice and staff nice too. Parking free at the hotel and very close to the lake boats snd train. Lovely place near the lake and would stay there again if in area."

"What a location absolutely stunning place, the view was out of this world over the lake . Couldn’t pick fault at all breakfast was excellent. 10/10"

"We had a lovely stay at the Doric, Staff are lovely , Food is very good , we were all inclusive . But didn’t have lunch but I imagine it was of a high standard. Pool area a bit tired but nice just to have a steam and a dip. Stripped the beds to help room attendant. Mattress protectors needed a wash , but I reckon not many guests strip the beds …. (It’s my job too, so I like to give a head start )"
