"This place was hands down one of the best family trips. The house had everything we need and the canoe and kayaks were put to good use. My son was able to enjoy time on the river with his friends both nights we were there. The place also was not far from the lagoon we visited as well. I felt at home and Mary had everything you would need for a home. The firewood was a nice touch! I loved the private balcony as well separate from the patio deck area. We will definitely come back!"

"We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful with a great layout for larger families. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The house was stocked with basic necessities and everything needed to make you feel at home. They even gave us a lovely welcome basket! Rene was very easy to communicate with. Something to keep in mind when booking, you will have to wash all towels and linens before you leave so make sure to give yourself plenty of time in the morning. Next time we’ll book an afternoon flight. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommended it to others. Thank you Rene!! 😊"

"We went for a family ER. I was concerned about location in closeness to family and hospital. It was perfect. The house was clean and well supplied. It was set on a beautifully landscaped property with volley ball, horse shoes, grill and solar lights ,that at night looked like a fairy garden. The location is private but within 4 minutes you are close to resultants, shopping, activities. Close to Tampa, Clearwater, beach, etc… The owner was amazing. Quick to respond. We needed to extend and he helped us through that process. So very kind. We would not only stay here again but highly recommend this home."

"The house was reasonably clean, updated with new appliances, and was in a convenient location with ample restaurants and shopping nearby. The hosts accommodated our well trained dog and we found it easy to walk her around the neighborhood. The kitchen was very well equipped, but we would have liked a full sized coffee pot. We found a number of maintenance issues with the home (clogged drains in shower and hall baths, numerous outlets not working, and broken exhaust fans in both bathrooms). In fairness to the hosts, we didn’t notify them of issues until after we departed as we didn’t want workers trapsing through the house while we were working during the day. The pictures in the listing accurately reflect the home. While it was nicely decorated we found most of the furniture to be somewhat uncomfortable (more style over function). We worked at the home during the day and found the neighbors to be very distracting, even playing loud music late nights. Had we stayed only a few days we probably would have given them a better rating, but after staying for 3 weeks, it was difficult for us to work and sleep. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t heated and was too cold to swim. The lanai had tears in the screens which let bugs in, so we didn’t sit outside much. With some of the maintenance items addressed and more comfortable furnishings, this could be a nice place for longer stays."
