"We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the four poster bed was lovely as well. The food at the hotel is very nice and very well priced and the real ales are superb. Although they don’t do breakfast there are plenty of places to get breakfast, we used Ye Old Nags Head and for £10.95 it was value for money. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at The Peak Hotel and will be staying...

"Room was lovely, spacious , bathroom was spacious and clean. Shower was great. Building is really old so big high ceilings old windows etc . Would definitely stay again. We had breakfast which was great apart from our toast arrived some time after breakfast, seems a bit petty but they weren’t busy and a really simple fix, they also only brought white so I had to go and find someone for some brown. However, the breakfast was nice. "

"This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. "The hotel area smelt of curry and beer with sticky floors, which was not a good start. The person at reception was confused why I was there, then realised I was the last person they were expecting. When I did get a key, there was silence before I asked where the rooms were. The bathroom smelt mouldy (which it was), the shower plumbing needed to be cleared as it was blocked, and the sink plug locked in place.
