All ok except lifts out of action and parking bays awkwardly small. Food was tasty with good selection. Overall the hotel felt rather tired and in need of some refurbishment.

Slightly tired rooms but a lovely pub/restaurant with great staff. Fantastic location just at the top of the high street and only a couple of minutes from the National Trust property. A bit noisy but that’s the price you pay for the location. Recommended!

Room was not large and bathroom was a little on the small side, that said it was really clean, warm and the bed was really comfy. The staff were all lovely and the price was great. Can’t complain at all

Room was very tired and small, no central heating, lights and fixtures in need of updating and windows were shabby. Staff were ok but some could smile more. Breakfast was nice. Just about ok for 1 night stay.
