"We were welcomed by the staff on reception and they all gave us good advice and helped to arrange trips. We were surprised how good the sound insulation was with the windows closed as our room was directly over a busy roundabout. The breakfast was as good as any we have had at continental hotels, and the view from the dining room was spectacular. "

"Excellent location. Great pool. Go to sleep at night to the sounds of waves on the beach. Location walking distance to many restaurants all on the beach. Staff was incredibly helpful in detailed descriptions of restaurant n activities. Breakfast mediocre but still decent for including in price. Parking was difficult. "

"The hotel lobby is beautiful with its view of the dining area looking out to the sea. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. We had a deluxe double room and it had a nice size patio with a stunning view. The hotel is well located in the charming town of Carvoeiro. It was very enjoyable to be able to walk to the many good restaurants. We also ate at the Hotel’s Mare Bistro and The One and had good experiences at both. The hotel staff is very professional and efficient. Only negatives were the hallways and the outdoor pool not being heated. In any event, I highly recommend this hotel."
