"I have stayed at Malmaison Birmingham a couple of times now and each time it has been a great experience. It is more of a lively hotel with entertainment areas and restaurant/bar on site. I take advantage of the spa treatments while I'm staying there. Sublime facial treatments every time! The hotel is such a convenient location, close to all sorts of amenities and easily accessible historic sites and the city centre. Sainsbury's and the train stations (New Street and Moor Street) are within a 5 minute walk. Also very close to many museums, shops, and eats, and the canals can be easily accessed on foot as well. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and accessible. While I stayed at Malmaison Birmingham this time, the fire alarm went off midday, so that was exciting! I was not inconvenienced too much, but I did have to get down to the muster point while I was fighting a bit of a head cold. But overall, just an exciting occurrence really. Overall, a great stay again. I will definitely consider staying here in future."

"Absolutely brilliant from the start. Easy parking, easy access to reception. Lift facilities great snd easy as one member of our party was on a mobility scooter. The room was excellent. Spacious. Luxurious. Bathroom excellent. Comfy bed. Superb facilities throughout. Use of the spa, staff so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend."

"I've stayed here a few times before and I'll stay here again. The staff are always helpful and it's a no fuss hotel with a relaxed feel that suits me. I like the restaurant, bar, reception being altogether. And its a good breakfast. I must point out 2 issues though. 1. This is the second time I've stayed here when only one lift is working out of 3. Annoying for guests and must be a nightmare for the room cleaners. 2. This is an airport stopover hotel as well as for NEC users. You need to warn guests taking early flights that the walking route through NEC to the shuttle is closed overnight until 6am. That caused us some anxiety and an unpleasant walk through an industrial area of the NEC with no pavements, following Google maps, to the airport at 5:15am."

"A lovely hotel with old world charm and beautiful grounds. Ample parking. The sequence of room numbering is unusual, finding exactly where your room is located via the various staircases can be challenging !"

"Good professional check in. Slight hiccup with the room I had booked but this was very quickly sorted out by the check in desk staff. All very clean and comfortable and a nice large shower. Will stay again."

"A lovely stay the room was very comfortable and clean very quiet the evening meal was very good it was very convenient just across the road from the airport terminal I have stayed here before and always found it really good I would definitely recommend."

"The only downside to the stay is the rooms are very hot, but they do supply you with a fan. Steph (reception) and the lady that looked after us at breakfast - chef’s kiss! Brilliant customer service."
