"The grounds, the pool and externally the site is lovely! There are 92 apartments at the site... the majority of which are in private ownership... and some of these are REALLY good apartments, up to date, safe and well maintained internally... BUT some are not and some are owned by the Hotel and these are not so good... we were unlucky enough to get probably the worst on the site... 70% of the lightbulbs didn’t work.. the put up bed was broken, the front door split, kitchen cupboards broken, no...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The staff were excellent. The facilities are really well looked after. We enjoyed the pools and the beach. The beach was beautiful. Some others have complained about the price of food and drink and I guess in comparison to other parts of Portugal it may seem like that. It is a 5 star rating and we expected 5 star pricing for food. We enjoyed the buffet dinner although I thought there could be more hot options at dinner. We enjoyed the Lima restaurant for the wonderful staff. The food at Lima was very good but could have gone up a level to meet the hotel star rating. The regional wine suggestions were excellent in all restaurants and reasonable prices based on North American perspective. All-in-all the staff made the experience. "

Beautiful hotel setting

"Went for a wedding weekend and it was beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the grounds were well kept the food was good. Walking path / boardwalk was a good way to get exercise every morning along the beach. The wedding venue was beautiful! "
