"What a beautiful house! Gorgeous 16th-century craftsmanship with modern upgrades and comforts. Quiet, peaceful, and very private. As for the location, we couldn't have chosen a better spot in the Albaycin. The house is just around the corner from Plaza Larga, and everything we needed was within a two-minute walk: daily produce market, seafood shop, supermarket, butcher shop, bakeries, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. It felt like a more local area, a little bit away from the tourist craziness. "The location of this hotel is excellent. We walked the “back” way to the Alhambra, as shared by Santiago. That was an excellent choice and a bit of a secret, I think! No crowds. The staff is excellent- friendly and informative. My only complaint (as others have noted)is the standard room is VERY small. You can also hear your neighbors in adjoining rooms. "

Comfortable modern hotel
"Really comfortable hotel. Great front of house staff and not far from the old town. Loved our 2 night stay there with parking in the basement which was pretty easy for our small hire car. Could never get our landcruiser down there though!! Unhappy experience in the restaurant which we can’t recommend but there are plenty of better places nearby. "
