The location was perfect. A stunning view over the valley, lots of sun and just a short walk into Akaroa. "Very bachy place. Amazing view, quite well equipped. Not that clean, a lot of dust, sofas weren’t vacuumed properly, needed to vacuum under the beds and sofas. Hair from previous occupants still in the bathroom."

"Frances was more accommodating than any host we’ve encountered in any country. She met us upon arrival, explained a few things, made two restaurant reservations for us, changed one on the day of, provided directions, rebooted internet immediately, and left cream for our coffee. She even had fresh flowers throughout the house. Her place is a perfect location to sit and watch all the port and harbor activity, walk to several restaurants and cafes, but easy to take tunnel into Christchurch....

"We have stayed at this property several times and is our first choice for Akaroa. Our four night stay on a wet chilly week was very comfortable due to the underfloor heating. Its location is excellent on the waterfront and the on site parking is at the door but can be a little limited at busy times."
