"These are cute little bungalows in a beautiful tropical forest setting in a quaint village 15 min from the pyramids at Chechen Itza.
The real gem here is Luis, the property owner and host. Luis greeted me with fresh juice and advice about visiting Cheche Itza and surrounding cenotes. He's a kind and gentle man and even broke out his guitar one evening.
Breakfast was also a highlight!
This is a great option for visiting Chechen Itza."
"What a lovely lovely place, it really takes you back to old school colonial architecture and living. The hotel has developed a wonderful eco friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and pool that should be enjoyed. Food was wonderful and so nice to see that they produce as much of their own food as they can and where theyâre unable to, they source from the local community. Our only comment would be that if you were staying for more than one night, the beds are small for 2 so as a family itâd be worth considering 2 rooms but it really didnât detract from our stay. "
"Gorgeous hotel with friendly employees, adorable stray dogs fed by guests, authentic and delicious food, and a fantastic courtyard and outside pool area (with swing!)"
"This was the best stay I have had at one of your listed hotels. Everything was outstanding, the grounds have an incredible history, and the staff were consummate professionals. 10/10"
