"Our beds were very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, particularly the scrambled eggs! We would like to have had our dinner in the hotel but the menu was basic in the extreme. Burgers, burgers and more burgers. To be fair the hotel had just changed ownership two days before our stay, so hopefully the evening meals will improve."

"Perfect location for a nice walk to the castle! Shanna was super kind and very responsive, messaging me back very quickly when I had a question. Room had gorgeous new interior design and breakfast was perfect. "Leo" the lion guarded me outside my window."

"There is a lot involved with the decor in this place, so expect some dust in harder to clean areas. That said, we rented the upper suite and the unit was huge compared to most. It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. Notably, the shower on the second floor of the upstairs unit had issues with consistency of flow and temperature, possibly when others were touching the faucets in other rooms (unconfirmed).
