"What a beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean, good location. Bus just down the road into Chania. But what makes this hotel is the owner Lena. She cannot do enough for you. So kind and helpful. Little things in room like toothbrush and paste, dressing gowns, small toiletries. Bottle of wine in fridge and water. Downstairs we could make a cup of tea and cake she had made. As wasn't full she gave us a room with seaview. Highly recommend"

"If you book Villa Elihrisos you will not be disappointed. It had wonderful country views at the back of property with the sea in the distance. It was very peaceful.The property and pool were very well maintained and clean. We were a family of 7 staying at the villa. We enjoyed the location to the nearby beaches especially the lovely Kalathas beach which had lots of beach chairs and a good snack bar. We were able to walk to three tavernas that were in very close proximity to the villa. All had good food quality and were of good value.When I booked the villa back in September 2025, communication was excellent with Katerina which continued through until we left. It was so personal to meet her and her mother Olga on our arrival at the villa. On the day of leaving her mother was there to say her goodbyes with a small gift. Nothing was too much trouble for Katerina. She was most informative and always happy to help. An excellent host.We would say that for us a car was essential particularly in the August heat. There were two good local supermarkets which were walkable but not if you had to carry supplies back to the villa. We did not cook in the villa but there appeared to be a very clean Barbecue and Pizza oven outside near the pool with a large communal table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting outside of a warm evening on the patio furniture. It was a good quality villa."

"Michalis was one of the kindest and most welcoming people we met during our trip! We stayed for just one night, but had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped (even with a washing machine), and had plenty of beds for our family of five. The style is more traditional than modern, but everything is actually very new and well maintained. Thank you, Michalis, for your wonderful hospitality!"

"Property was clean, beds are comfortable and each room was nice and cool with great working aircon in every room and the pool was lovely clean and fresh. This villa is the most well equipt I've experienced, there is everything you need, including kids plastic plates and cutlery, loads of beach towels for by the pool, salt, pepper, spices and all the cooking and BBQ utensils.Our host Kelly was amazing, she provided us with a full tour, with lots of info about the local area as well as the best beaches to go to. Kelly was on hand via WhatsApp any time we needed her and came and did a mid week clean at a time we were comfortable with.If you need a taxi to Chania, 100% use the preferred taxi company provided by Kelly, their service is second to none!In addition to our welcome, Kelly also made us a welcome lunch all layed out in the dining room on our arrival, it was absolutely beautiful!We made use of the private chef service, all I can say is wow, the food was amazing!Our host really does go out her way to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.100% will stay again in the future."
