"Great location about 15-20 min walk to the old town. Snorkelling beach 50m (lots of fish to see). We even got serenaded by the owner playing a variety of Cretan stringed instruments one evening!"

"The best thing about this hotel was the staff- very polite, helpful and friendly. I wish this was the standard around the world. A very big thank you to you all for looking after us. We stayed in the new part of the building- which unfortunately is still being built. The food is amazing- Breakfast lunch dinner à la carte- very delicious. Hot tub in some of the rooms/bathroom-did not try. Overall the hotel is in a very good location and deserves the 5*."

"We stayed 2 nights at Kydon. From the moment we arrived until the moment we lleft, all staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was beautiful, spacious, balcony with view of Old Chania. Walking distance to Old Chania. We brought a car. They kept it off site but would bring it to us in what seemed like less than 5 minutes. The breakfast in the morning was incredible, full of variety. The only thing that was a little challenging is the half door for the shower/ tub. It did not keep all water contained in the shower and when you were done you would step out into a puddle of water. However they did have everything available in the bathroom that you might possibly forget (comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, etc). Would definitely stay here again if we return to Chania."

"We loved our stay here. This home is one of the best stocked I have seen. We had everything we needed and more. The unit was extremely clean and good quality linens. The check in was easy and again went above and beyond to meet us there and show us everything in the unit. "

"Lovely boutique hotel with the most warm and welcoming staff. Grounds are compact but beautiful and make good use of the space. The restaurant on site is toward the "fine dining" end of the Cretan spectrum and is good (but I wouldn't recommend it for every night of your stay)."
