and the archaeological museum, as well as to the center of town. Plenty of restaurants nearby, too. I had never been to Aegina before and wasn’t sure what to expect since it is the closest island to Athens / Piraeus. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the island and would definitely come back. Honestly had a better time here than on some of the more famous islands. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking a pistachio grove. A very good breakfast was available for 6 Euro. The location was perfect - just a short walk to the center of town. We could not believe we found this great hotel for such a great price."

"Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a
beach
, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices."

"It is a new and very pretty apartment building. It is close to a supermarket but also close to a larger street. The amenities are modern and the kitchen supplies are sufficient. The bathroom is great. The Internet works well. It is very well located at the side of the city centre so you can go swimming in the morning and shop at the supermarket or go to the restaurant. I was very happy with The owners who I met."
