"We were pleasantly surprised about our stay here at the Jungle Lodge. You can’t beat the location, walking distance to the ruins. The staff and service were over the top, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. We did the sunrise private excursion which gets you up at 3:30am but what an experience, one of the best in our lifetime. "I had mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel presents itself as a leading option in the area, I honestly expected better basic amenities. Some essential things were missing for example, there were no bed sheets provided in the room, which is something very simple but important. Another issue was with the shared showers in the common areas, where the water was constantly running hot and couldn’t be properly adjusted. This made the experience less comfortable than it should have...
