"Very basic hotel the smoke alarm wasn’t working the bath was dirty (although it was a shared bathroom!) there was a good range of products shampoo shower gel etc no tea bags ! No one at a reception desk it was not a manned hotel bed wasn’t very comfortable but it was just a cheap cheerful hotel and you get what you pay for so overall it wasn’t a bad place to stay to get your head down "

As an American I very much appreciate the things that make it different from the big hotel chains. It is quiet, it is personal, it is comfortable and to me “very British” which is a good thing.
