Staff very friendly and helpful, however were limited to what they could provide/offer - need more of them to cater for guests' needs better

Inside of hotel very tired, requires redecoration and maintenance
Had booked a Deluxe King room - on website it states "spacious elegance, modern amenities and a sanctuary of comfort" - however faulty door locks, stained carpets, bathroom fittings broken, low stock of supplies in room so ran out,...
"Old hotel with character, a welcoming reception area and updated rooms. There is no elevator but we were prepared for that and our room was only up one level. The food in the bar was delicious."
