"our room was always hot and they even brought in a portable airconditionor but it did little and a we had a fan. The temperatures where cold outside but the windows did not open up enough to get it comfortable and I am usually always cold. There is always condensation on the windows. also. Other than that it is a very good place to see all the sights and be close to everything. "

"This hotel is in a great location. Close to Royal Mile, museums and shopping. Downside is no parking so best to skip car rental til you are ready to go to next location in Scotland. The food was excellent with complimentary Champaign at arrival and breakfast."

"This is a very pleasant and modern hotel in a very good location. An excellent base for seeing the city. They don't do breakfast but there are seversl cafes within minutes' walk that do. Free drinks in the comfy lounge in the late afternoon is a good offer. The main downsides are that the rooms at least the one we had - are very small at the price, although well equipped. Our shower had a life of its own and was frankly something of a danger to life and limb. The staff are friendly, charming and helpful. They were very kind to our dog who was well catered for."

"The hotel was clean and bright. This is off the Royal Mile (10-15 minute walk) in a quieter area. There are a ton of resturants around."

"Beautiful hotel with great pool and sauna. Location is ideal for exploring Edinburgh, highly recommend a trip to Murrayfield if you are a rugby fan it's a 20 minute walk from the hotel through some beautiful parks."
