This property is quiet and well located in old Edinburgh. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed making a few meals during our stay. The bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and HVAC system worked well. Excellent stay!

Edinburgh’s main attractions are mostly along the Royal Mile with the Castle and Palace on either end. This property is just off the Royal Mile and is convenient to everything while being in a quiet location. We found the location to be perfect with walking to the main downtown area being only 15-20 minutes away. We used the washing machine and it worked perfectly.

Good location right on the Royal Mile. No views. Nice to have a kitchen area for eating in every so often. Liked having the OJ, milk, cheese , and yogurt in the fridge and the musilli for breakfast. We just bought our own fruit.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of several weeks traveling around Europe. It was the perfect place to stay! It was like having our own little apartment right off of the Royal Mile. The location was amazing. It was a convenient walk to anywhere and we loved just exploring the immediate area as well. As soon as I turned into the historic Bakehouse Close I could feel the magic of this historical city. We really appreciated the washer/dryer in our room and the breakfast items were a nice touch. There's a little grocery store just a few steps away which was great since we had a full kitchen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here the next time we're in Edinburgh.

It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable and SO CLOSE to the Royal Mile. We had a kitchenette with a fridge, cooktop, dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer for the price of a regular hotel room.

The property was very well located, close to all the main tourist locations, very close to the hop on hop off bus stop. The room was clean but the bathroom had hair on the sink and the toilet. The tub was also dirty. The staff were helpful, however their key machine was not working the week we were there and we had to get one of the staff to open our room door every time we left the hotel room which was very inconvenient. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades, the floor in our room was squeaking, not a lot of storage space and no place to hang any clothes other than a very tiny closet. With a few improvements this can really be a very good hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, just far enough away on the Royal Mile to avoid the tourist congestion and noise but still extremely close to the main area. The room was a great size with plenty of space to move around and not feel confined like in other tiny hotel rooms that are more expensive. You have a kitchen, little table and sofa which no regular hotel room will provide so u can’t beat this place. We loved everything about our stay. The only thing I would have changed but had seen other reviews with the same issue, was the shower drain. It barely drained likely due to old plumbing so we had to limit the amount of water flow as we showered to avoid from having the base overflow onto the bathroom floor. We didn’t complain to the front desk, we just dealt with it because the rest was great. We would gladly stay here every and anytime we’re in Edinburgh and highly recommend it to others.

The location was good and convenient. However, unfortunately, there were several things that could have been better. The breakfast provided was not good at all. It was basically just a small snack left in the room for us each day during the four days we stayed there. I would not consider this a proper breakfast. Also, the bed was very small for two people, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, the location was a positive, but the breakfast and bed size were disappointing.

We really liked: - the location, with a Tesco Express around the corner, and near to attractions and bus stops - the apartment layout & facilities Unfortunately we had constant problems with our door key. We had to have it re-programmed every single day of a week-long stay, even though we were careful to store the key away from phones etc. This entailed multiple trips back to the desk from our 5th-floor room, usually at the end of a long day. The tub was awkward to get in & out of, but when asked, staff promptly provided a rubber mat for the tub floor which made a big difference. Overall it was a great place to stay, and we would probably stay there again.

Welcoming friendly staff. Spacious clean apartment. Sterile decor. Poor wifi. Generous breakfast ingredients available in the apartment. Very small kitchen garbage receptacle that was always overflowing. Given other choises, would not book again as definitely not worth $750/night.
