"Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Had a forest view but to be fair it's a tall wall full of foliage. Could have looked nicer with a bit of planting / tidying up. Restaurant breakfast & evening meal were both great. Pleasant staff."

"Highly recommended. Faultless. The staff deserve a special mention as they are excellent in all respects. An example is Carol who warmly greets you at breakfast and is a joy. Both breakfast and dinner were very good and the bar and terrace area is spacious with fantastic west facing views. The hotel is spectacularly located high up above the Wye Valley with a wide panorama. Many of the bedrooms benefit from these wonderful views. A great place to stay for exploring this beautiful area."
