"The room assigned to us is clean and organized. Slidding wood door need to get fix. Its hard and no handle. Hard to push. Room is NOT quiet. You can hear neighbors noise, loud stumps when guests walk on the upper floor especially when there are kids. Its annoying and i was not able to rest enought my 7 nights stay. The breakfast easily run out fast. The staff are friendly. The muslim receptionist is friendly and always smile. The self laundry is a huge help . They have gym but i did not use it. Pool is also available for those who want to use it. Safe place with free parking but not quiet . This will be my firsr and last. "

"I was delighted to discover that the entire building is going through a renovation. My room was newly re-done, clean, and good. I'd say staying here is about expectations though. This is an affordable place to stay in a nice area that is close to the metro, restaurants, etc. I didn't see any staff after I checked in, but Etie helped me get settled by getting an ironing board and iron during check-in. Lost Sock is a great coffee house located on the far side of the metro. I didn't know we had laundry machines in the building. I didn't need that though. Again, if you want an affordable, clean, safe place to stay that's close to DC, this is for you. If you want all the amenities of a full hotel, you'll pay double to be in DC."

"Staff was great and the location is ideal for catching the Metro to DC. Room was very nice. There is inexpensive parking at a public parking garage 1/2 a. Lock away."

"Absolutely disgusting place. From the moment we arrived, it felt unsafe and sketchy people hanging around, cars with people sleeping inside, and the entire parking lot smelled like smoke and weed. There’s no real lobby, just a run-down, poorly maintained property that reeks of a horrible, unbearable smell. The staff was completely useless and unprofessional. The room looked NOTHING like the pictures. It was filthy stained sheets, dirty walls, and even marks from smashed bugs/roaches. The smell inside was even worse smoke, weed, mold, and stale air. It was so bad we didn’t even feel comfortable touching anything. We checked in at 1 AM and left within minutes because staying there was not an option. I honestly don’t understand how Expedia even lists this place it’s completely misleading. We didn’t stay at all and still only got one night refunded. If I could give a negative rating, I would. Avoid at all costs."

"Upon checking in, the room key didn't work. Engineering had to check that the combination of room keys and a special key was able to get me into my room. It was a room with a connecting door - and I heard the couple in the next room fight all night. In the morning, a mouse shot from under the window behind the couch. Needless to say, i was ready to leave."
