"The staff and pool were nice, but that's about it. Everything in the room was beat up or just old looking. The room also had no ventilation. There was an AC unit in the window but it can't do much without anywhere for the air to go. It was hard to sleep since the room was hot, humid, and stuffy. The sheets felt gross because of that, but room service didn't change them (or even remake the beds). The hallways also smelled really bad due to the paint they were using to repaint. The elevator also did not work and based on other reviews, it seems like its been broken for 5 years. We checked out early and stayed with friends. "

"Hotel grounds were very cute! Loved the pool area and daybeds. Carpet throughout the hotel could stand to be replaced, and the elevator was out of service…The staff left a lot to be desired! Very unfriendly and there were several times that no one was even at the desk. Hospitality should be a focus here :)"

We were really hoping that booking a nice place would lift our mood and give us some comfort. While the room itself was good, the staff unfortunately did not meet expectations. "Room was very small and old. Not necessarily dirty but not as clean as I wished it was. Everything was outdated. Even the elevator didn’t work! Great location and staff. I would have expected some security too based on its location, but there was none. I would not stay here again. "

"A VERY NICE place overall! I am a tough grader, so I would put this in the 4.4 to 4.7 range if I could. Pool deck and facilities are very nice. But horribly crowded in peak times, weekend, etc. The old fight for a pool chair at 6:30 AM stuff just gets old, especially at a place that’s supposed to be higher end. Dominated by younger couples with small kids, mixed in with the business/conference types. Good mix of people if that’s something you prioritize. Besides the crowded pool, my biggest complaint would be the $30 cocktails. I know it’s Miami Beach but cmon. Great walkable location with access to the boardwalk and lively shopping/restaurant areas across the street. Close enough to walk straight to the action, but not quite in the middle of clubbing insanity! I would probably splurge a little extra and go for a boutique place before I go back, but I would go back. Again, CROWDED pool and my kids were just a little too old for the pool noodle scene. "
