"Lovely front desk staff. Nice restaurant and coffee shop staff. Hotel was utilitarian often seen in large “convention” type hotels. Carpets were hideous to be frank. Not charming but functional. Good location to walk town."

In general, I like the location, but to label this hotel as a Five Star requires a review!!"

"The location the hotel the staff- all wonderful. We loved the spa and great fitness center as well. All around we had a really nice 5 night stay. One small comment- the cleaning of the room could have been more thorough. We felt as though the bed was made and new towels delivered, but the soap, tissues, water and shampoo were never refilled over 5 days. Also having things straightened up a bit would have been nice"
"Cute historic hotel with pleasant staff. However, I would not consider this a 5 star hotel. Very few amenities (no conditioner even!) and no room service available Sunday (it was pouring rain outside and would have much preferred to stay in). No turndown service which is a small detail, but still something that is common in 5 star hotels."
