"Do not imagine yourself staying in a five stars hotel. This is a very old property. The furniture and amenities are old and beat up. The staff is friendly and competent. The cleaning crew is very friendly and did a good job. The issues arise from the property showing its age that’s all. If you want a true luxury experience I suggest looking for another place:)"

"Think about clouds, singing angels and a sunrise which gives you the slightest warmth after a cold morning. This hotel offers you an even better experience. One of the best hotels I have ever slept. "The room is big and clean. The staff is nice. However, the indoor swimming pool, gym (only few facilities) and one hotel restaurant in hotel were all closed and shut down!! So curious and not shown on the website!! Also, 3 out of 6 small spa pools were shut down due to problem. The buffet restaurant is only opened for breakfast. There is only one Chinese restaurant and a tea/cafe shop (snack food serving only) are left for lunch and dinner. However, the restaurant is opened until 8:00pm...

Beautiful little Temple in the Rain Forest terrace Scenic Area of Yuhuatai. Unlike the larger Temples like the Confucius Temple, this small place actually has monks living there. They invited me to sit and have tea with them and gave me a personal tour. #LocalSecrets
