"Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. "

"Great England experience in a 1000 year old inn. Central and authentic. Loved the room over the entrance with views all around. Didn’t mind banging my head on the door frame too much, but I am 5’7”! Great pub downstairs. Not modern but that is what we were looking for."

"A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. "The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require.
