"The hotel has a very much a 5-star feel, reminiscent of something out of Downton Abbey. The building and public areas are grand, and the complimentary Elemis toiletries were a nice touch. "This hotel is quite easy walking distance into the main "old" part of town ... Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon, multiple churches, tons of restaurants. We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London. "The place was great but we just happened to go during a historical heat wave and there was no AC ! The staff were super helpful and gave us a Dyson fan but the heat was unbearable at times . The place is nice and very close to all attractions. The room was cozy and comfortable . We would have eaten there but instead looked for dining places that had AC so we could cool off !"
