"To be honest, and in my personal opinion, I don’t feel this hotel currently deserves a 5-star rating, especially considering the price. Our stay was unfortunately not a particularly pleasant experience. We had to change rooms because of unpleasant smells, especially on the lower floors. To be fair, the staff were helpful and arranged alternative rooms on higher floors, which I appreciated. The best part of the hotel is undoubtedly the spectacular sea view and peaceful location. However, when it...
"My husband and I spent a part of our honeymoon at Vale Do Lobo. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We had a private apartment with a pool, which was lovely. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants, golf, and the pool area. We even went to the beach one day.
The accommodations were great! They provided us with espresso for the Nespresso machine. Gave us a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. We had everything we could need at the apartment."
"The hotel is exceptional. We had not one complaint. The buffet breakfast was great, the adult only pool was nice and quiet and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend."
"The property was so clean and well maintained, we’re talking Four Season hotel level of cleanliness. The staff was good no complaints at all. The beach was absolutely breathtaking! The beaches in that area are known to be some of the most beautiful on the Mediterranean, and that’s so true. Pools were also nice and clean so are the decks and lounge chairs. Only thing is they are a bit cheap with the water. They only provide 2 small bottles per room in the room. At this level a shouldn’t have to...
"It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel.
I saw other reviews mention the hotel...

"Lovely hotel, the staff were great, friendly, helpful and available for help at any time. The room was lovely, clean and an incredibly comfy big bed! The view was great, the amenities were great, pools, gym, restaurants and bar all lovely, with easy and quick access to the beach, and loved the free shuttle to the old town. Would recommend to anyone!!"
"Second time @ Dona Fillpa. A lovely quiet relaxing time again
Staff great.
Pool a little chilly but perfectly ok.
Located next to bars and restaurants and close to beach"
"Es precioso o sitio, hay muchas opciones de piscina,. Siempre hay tumbonas disponibles. La unica pega es que cierra el bar mui temprano., Pero lo demás, todo perfecto. Es la segunda vez i irei mas seguro."
