"Nice traditional Pub with rooms located in a nice green area with some good walking trails to the Trundle (definitely worth it)... the food was great, and the breakfast was filling - staff were friendly and helpful"
"We booked the luxury caravan with a hot tub, although unfortunately we wouldn’t describe it as “luxury”.
There were a few things that we felt needed attention. The radiators in the bathrooms were rusty and really need replacing, the grouting was mouldy, and one of the shower screens had mould around the bottom. The white railing around the patio was also loose and needs securing.
The hot tub had supposedly been cleaned before our arrival, but there were what looked like small stones in it,...
"A very quaint and memorable visit. Hotel was charming, restaurant was wonderful, staff were exceptional.
Located in the heart of Bishop Waltham, all the shops were exceptional and everyone we met in town were so very friendly.
We had such a wonderful stay."
"We stayed in a Burst of Blue Lodge with a hot tub. We had a lovely relaxed stay. The staff were brilliant. Clean enough. No instructions for the oven, microwave or dishwasher. No welcome pack left as per cleaners check list. However, we would return & would recommend the lovely site and surroundings."
"A lovely place to stay, the room was large and luxurious, airconditioning, roll top bath, separate shower and comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was great and the owners were lovely. Highly recommended."
"We had a really nice weekend at Hillside.
The hotel was great, our room had a lovely view and the host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely go back."
