"Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die...

"This gem of a B&B is in a tranquil and beautiful village with 2 pubs and a tiny shop. The joining instructions were clear and accurate. The signposting inside the property is a model of clarity. The compact bedroom was well appointed down to the torch for walks back from the pub. A delightful continental breakfast served when required, but you can help yourself and make tea and coffee at any time. The steep little staircase to the rooms could cause some people problems. My biggest complaint was that it was so warm we had to keep the windows open all the time, which meant we had to listen to traffic noise all the time, and there is a lot of traffic noise. Other notes: Window blinds were damaged and half-functional. Combination clothes washer/dryer does not dry effectively. Only one key is provided for an apartment that sleeps six. "
