The hotel was near a train station and a fairly large shopping mall. It wasn't as close to the downtown area or the major tourist sites but the big aquarium is also nearby. "Fabulous hotel, close to the airport. It is so quiet and the pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have all these modern touches like automatic lighting, blinds, and towel warmers. It was our favourite hotel during our stay in Portugal. Not the most central, but easy to travel from and that is the reason it was so quiet and relaxing. "
