"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and facilities in the hotel were excellent. Breakfast had plenty of variety and good quality. We had a lovely 10 night stay and would come back in the future."
"The overall experience was good. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There was a bad smell in the first room we checked into, but they changed our room the next day, and the new room was much better. The housekeeping team also did a great job. The food and service at Zamana Restaurant were amazing as well.
I have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, and I would say the service here is definitely five-star. However, based on the condition and quality of the rooms, I wouldn’t...
"Absolutely wonderful stay! Staff was lovely, accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was also spotlessly clean. There are not enough superlatives for how wonderful this hotel is. The ruins inside are also so cool! Definitely a must stay!"
"We had an incredible time! The team helped us book activities, suggested plans based on our interests, were extremely kind and welcoming and the room and amenities were spectacular. To top it off the food was incredible! The breakfast greek yogurt with fruit and granola was my favorite ever. We cant wait to go back!"
"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort.
However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and...
"The front desk staff was warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! The room and bed was by far one of the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed at in a hotel and I’ve traveled all over the world. The breakfast and staff were fantastic and met our every need. The location couldn’t have been better, a quick 8 min walk to the harbor and many restaurants. Chania is a wonderful city and for my first time going to Crete, was overjoyed with my stay at Chania hotel .. big...
"Lovely hotel with a very substantial choice of breakfast - you can definitely eat like a king in the morning! Private dipping pool was great and location was quiet with a nice view of downtown. However, it is a bit far and you need a car or have to rely on buses (or just lots of walking including uphill on the way back). Staff were helpful and polite in general. Only drawback is the balcony part is not totally private, especially if the next door guests are outside at the same time."
"This is a relatively new property with amazing sea views and a great breakfast spread. But that is the only positive. The housekeeping is below par. The front office is often manned by newly recruited staff who are clueless and do not have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage guests, Our room (upgraded 1st day room and subsequent room the next day) had a stream of red ants all over the room. The housekeeping staff had to be called in late at night (well past 10 o’clock) to clean the...
"BEAUTIFUL MAINTAINED GROUNDS. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. WE HAD A PARTIAL SEA VIEW BUNGALOW - THE VIEW WAS GOOD & BUNGALOWS ARE LOCATED IN A QUITE PART OF THE RESORT. LOVED OUR BALCONY ( RM 30). MAIN CRITICISM OF THE ROOM IS THE OVER BATH SHOWER. WHOEVER PLANNED PUTTING THE TAPS IN THE CENTRE OF THE BATH AS WELL AS THE WIRE RACK & SOAP DISPENSERS HAS NEVER TRIED TO STAND TAKING A SHOWER IN THE BATH WHILST FIGHTING THE PLASTIC SHOWER SHEET - IT IS DANGEROUS . I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HEAVIER / LARGER...
"Das hotel sehr modern und toll angelegt. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer dadurch einen super Urlaub.
Ein kleiner Tipp-beim Abendessen war es unruhig, man fühlte man sich sehr gehetzt. Schade."
