"Front desk staff very polite and helpful (advised us that breakfast was included in our room rate which we had not appreciated) Room excellent - large, well appointed and spotless with a wonderful huge bed and an immaculate bathroom Breakfasts were very good with attentive staff We have stayed several times over the past years and this is our go-to in Wellington not only for the above reasons but also the central location which is close to most of the attractions in the CBD"

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."
