"We had a 2 night stay to break up a return flight to the UK. The room was spotless & had a huge, very comfortable bed. We ate both nights at the rooftop bar. The service there was outstanding. Our servers both nights (29th & 30th May) looked after us really well. We didn’t hear any plane noise in our room. 100% recommend this hotel. "

"If I had to describe the Emara, I would say it is security wrapped in comfort. They are very accomodating to my desire to check in early and staying past my check out time because of my international flights. I would recommend speaking directly with the staff and not relying on the information from the TV. They have more information about the services of the hotel. "Great stay, if you want to stay north of Nairobi. Place has a unique colonial character, service is more reflective of times gone by. Food was great and well priced. Property is geared towards big events hosting so felt empty on many days and then suddenly full. Overall enjoyed it as a great sleeping pad for our north of Nairobi trips like hells gate national park, ziplining and ol pejete trips. Grounds were pretty, so you can enjoy a day or two in the property itself."
