"Beautiful hotel, but falls short of 5-star luxury.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Nautilux, but it didn’t wow us. Beautiful architecture and rooms, but the experience felt more 3–4 star than 5-star luxury.
The seafront location is lovely, although Old Town is a 30–45-minute walk away. Electric scooters were handy for evenings out.
Breakfast was our biggest disappointment. Hot food was consistently cold, poached eggs had raw whites, there were no yoghurts, few dairy-free options and the same...
"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort.
However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and...
"Entry to the Hilton hotel was met with the customary sit down (welcome drinks, towels, a run through of the map and facilities of the hotel) which was nice
Reception staff was friendly as expected which is a requirement for front office staff. This was offset by a couple of pretty angry and rude buggy drivers. Nevertheless, doesn’t change our impression of the hotel too much.
The hotel had many pools which would have been great in peak summer with lots of"
"We have just returned from our sixth stay, and once again we had such a wonderful time.
From the delicious food and beautiful facilities to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, everything made our stay special. You can really feel that the entire team cares about making guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
The only thing that didn’t cooperate this time was the weather, but despite that, we had an excellent and relaxing time.
After visiting six times, I think that says...
"This is a relatively new property with amazing sea views and a great breakfast spread. But that is the only positive. The housekeeping is below par. The front office is often manned by newly recruited staff who are clueless and do not have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage guests, Our room (upgraded 1st day room and subsequent room the next day) had a stream of red ants all over the room. The housekeeping staff had to be called in late at night (well past 10 o’clock) to clean the...
"BEAUTIFUL MAINTAINED GROUNDS. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. WE HAD A PARTIAL SEA VIEW BUNGALOW - THE VIEW WAS GOOD & BUNGALOWS ARE LOCATED IN A QUITE PART OF THE RESORT. LOVED OUR BALCONY ( RM 30). MAIN CRITICISM OF THE ROOM IS THE OVER BATH SHOWER. WHOEVER PLANNED PUTTING THE TAPS IN THE CENTRE OF THE BATH AS WELL AS THE WIRE RACK & SOAP DISPENSERS HAS NEVER TRIED TO STAND TAKING A SHOWER IN THE BATH WHILST FIGHTING THE PLASTIC SHOWER SHEET - IT IS DANGEROUS . I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW HEAVIER / LARGER...
"Das hotel sehr modern und toll angelegt. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer dadurch einen super Urlaub.
Ein kleiner Tipp-beim Abendessen war es unruhig, man fühlte man sich sehr gehetzt. Schade."
"Fantastic stay, Great location, highly recommend. Nice clean room with great sea views, staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with so much choice. Good evening entertainment with live music good spa, had a relaxing massage. Two nice swimming pools and surrounding areas. Relaxing vibe would return to the hotel if visiting Crete again."
"The staff at the reception was amazing, and the cleaning staff was excellent as well.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. Staff members were removing plates before guests had even finished their meals, and there was constant shouting throughout the hotel. The alcohol served at the bar was of very poor quality. Overall, this did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience at all."
