"This is a superb hotel - bedding so comfortable and the room very quiet. Its a great way to sleep of travel before driving anywhere. the ONLY criticism I have (and its a small one) is someone had let their young children into the gym on their own in the morning, and I went to reception and asked staff to deal with it but no one did. The boys were almost falling off the treadmills at high speed and should not have been unsupervised - I do wish a staff member had come up to sort it after I asked...

"Unfortunately we were told we had been upgraded to two bedroom chalets instead of the modern three bedroom villa we had originally booked for our group. This wasn’t an upgrade as the chalets are much older and the facilities weren’t as nice, although we did have more room. "Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful clean and tidy room. gorgeous country views, fully enjoyed the "special attention" from our hosts. The meals and service were amazing. Chef "Stewart" cooked beyond perfection! The spa pool was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the 5 km trail walk around the property. A very calm, relaxing and safe feeling at this lodge. A highly recommend quiet retreat! Thank you for making our stay so memorable."
