"How do I even begin to say how amazing the experience was to stay at The Tides. Our original plans for another B&B were cancelled by mistake and we were stuck without a place to stay shortly before dinner. When we did some research we discovered The Tides. AND WOW WHAT A COMPLETE JOY! It’s better than we could have imagined. From the moment we walked into meet it hosts and saw their beautiful home, to great advice to where we could fine, to the amazing accommodations and the breakfast of Irish perfection—wow! (we felt like it was the way traveling used to be…no hotel or hurried attitudes—-only being with real people who wanted to take care of us). It was by accident we found The Tides, but it will be on purpose that we want to return and tell everyone how worth Ballybunion is because The Tides made us feel welcomed and rested and fed with the best Ireland could offer! "This was the BEST property in Ireland. I have stayed everywhere in the country and hands down trumps Doonbeg is the ONLY SAFE RESORT full of traditional IRISHNESS! I highly recommend this incredible resort to EVERYONE who comes to Ireland. If you’re looking for 12 star treatment, IRELAND, beauty, fun and safety this is the place to stay. The service is unmatched and the warm happy feeling you feel there is amazing. It’s so pleasant. The rest of Ireland is TRASH because of the government and destroyed tourism making everything into IPAS centers for migrant men driving down safety and running out Irish businesses. But not in Doonbeg, this property will have you feeling like you’re in IRELAND THE WAY ITS MEANT TO BE. "
