The decor was modern but comfortable and still maintained much of the original building’s old world charm. The food at Eve was delicious! "Hotel is a lovely new build, staff were friendly, rooms were really nice… but the cleanliness let it down… There were urine marks on the toilet floor, coffee stain on the bedding, the dust was thick, finger marks on glass and fridge door. The pillows were awful, bad night sleep. Luckily we were only there for one night! This let down the hotel and our experience staying there! "

"It was a beautiful hotel with many cozy public rooms to hang out in and have a drink or afternoon tea. The food was very good and the location was great. Our room was quite large with big windows and a nice bathroom. Everyone there from the front desk to the bartenders were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay there again."

"I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...
