The beach is just a few minutes walk and would absolutely recommend this place if all you want to do is be on the beach. The biggest let down was the neighbourhood- it feels abandoned and derelict with many abandoned and boarded up buildings. There’s not much around at all. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. "I visted in winter so the property was not in its summer glory but was charming and my room was palatial. The food was good. The hotel spa was amazing and I had a wonderful treatment. The location is perfect right next to the fameous Terme. The staff were incredibly kind and really looked after us. I recommend it. "
