"My room was nice and clean. My bed was comfortable. My breakfast was very unsatisfactory, not the level of 4* hotel. You even get better in 3*. I was surprised to find out that it cost£25 pounds to use gym, or swimming pool. In all hotels I stayed it was included in the price for the room. Location suited me as I came for the opera. Around the corner there are a few ok restaurants. I was told that dinner on Crescent is nit good and much overpriced . Parking cost £30 .pet night. So at the end...

"My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb."

"A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

"In an idyllic setting, an excellent base for holidaying around Matlock/Derbyshire . Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack included a bottle of my wife's favourite wine. The owner checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Would certainly recommend it. "

"The Mouse House is a very quirky little cottage set in the quiet village of Elton. You'll have everything that you need there for your stay. Bakewell, Chatsworth and Rowsley Shopping Village are all within a comfortable driving distance and Robin Hoods Stride/ Stone Circle an easy walk away. "
