"This was a wonderfully comfortable and charming hotel. Checking in was easy and the storage of our luggage till room ready was well managed. Paul, the concierge helped me find things in the property and directed us in town. Very nice staff but Paul was excellent in particular. Breakfast was good and the dining room decorated in Alice in wonderland watercolors, bright window light and comfortable seating. The food was varied and you could find something for your taste and dietary needs....

"The Sun Inn was a great experience. Very friendly staff and most accommodating. Helped with luggage. The room couldn't be faulted, with absolutely everything we could ask for. Located right next to the amazing Coate Water Park, so you can walk right in. Also close to the M4 motorway, but out of earshot. The rooms are not in the pub building, but in its garden. Five-star all the way."

"Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die...

"It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. "

"A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. "This was a wonderfully comfortable and charming hotel. Checking in was easy and the storage of our luggage till room ready was well managed. Paul, the concierge helped me find things in the property and directed us in town. Very nice staff but Paul was excellent in particular. Breakfast was good and the dining room decorated in Alice in wonderland watercolors, bright window light and comfortable seating. The food was varied and you could find something for your taste and dietary needs. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable-- chairs that you could sit in and watch the people go by into Oxford. The hotel is just across from the Ashmolian museum and was close to train station. Also, your room card is a facsimile of a famous Oxford student. Just a nice touch. Plenty of places to sit and read a book, have a drink or get tea. I think this is a wonderful place and will look for other graduate hotels when I travel. "
