"The hotel was stunning, with an antique elevator and wonderful staff who upgraded my room to a full sea view suite! the bed was so comfy and ginormous, and the bath was incredible. The whole place was super clean and modern. I will say, the room is showing signs of wear. Orange (tan?) stains on the marble, bubbling wallpaper under the mirror over the sink and marks on the paintwork, but none of this could take away from the immaculately clean room and gorgeous bed."

"Beautiful building. Needs updating. Room was big but the bathroom was not up to standard for a 5 star hotel eg water pressure was low, the shower units were dated, no separate shower. Perfect lication. Parking available on a first serve as basis unless you pay £25 for a guaranteed parking per night. Indoor pool was okay but the pressure in the jacuzzi was not strong. Only one steam room and no sauna. Breakfast time was bit hit and miss and had to wait anling time to receive our cooked breakfast....

"Rooms are comfortable and beds terrific. Young staff could use some hospitality training on how to be more friendly and gracious with guests, or at least a smile. Could have made an effort to be more accommodating- ie arrived just as dinner service ended. Could have offered snacks, nuts, something… Asked about GF breakfast options. Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?"

"I'm not usually a B&B person but it had such amazing reviews we gave it a try and it lived up to every 5 star review. It is absolutely gorgeous, the room was spacious and had the most fabulous bathtub. The breakfast is wonderful and Karen is so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend The Laindons."
