"I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.
The one small downside of being so central was some noise, though that was probably due to where my room was located. If you're a light sleeper, it may be worth requesting a...
"Great base place to explore Bath, specially if you rented a car which you can park inside the hotel premises.
Bedroom was spacious and well appointed.
We had breakfast once and it was nice quality, but since they were closing felt rushed with no purpose.
Based on room rates to charge for parking felt unnecessary and probably won't move the hotel top line needle.
Would go back to it!"
"There was no convenient way to use the hair dryer with a mirror making it problematic. Had to move heavy side table to use plug. The highboy doors didnt close properly and swung open on their own (needs to be fixed). The parking was interesting getting up the steep hill, but we managed."
"We had the best stay here for my birthday ! The room was beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding, a little further out than we normally stay but well worth the extra few minutes walk"
"Our stay at Windsor Townhouse was absolutely excellent. The accommodation was spotless, welcoming and comfortable, with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!
Breakfast was delicious.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay, with a special mention to Victoria and Katriona, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
It was also so thoughtful of them to look after our cases for us until it was time to leave, which made our departure so much easier.
We...
"I loved our one night here. It was a stop off on the way further south but I wish we could have stayed longer. So peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay happen, even when we arrived late. We ate our breakfast outside in the courtyard which was idyllic. The food was gorgeous. We shopped in the farm shop afterwards and bought more than we needed as it all looked (and was) so good. A really lovely stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Really ovely room. ...
"Breakfast was great, would have been better if toast was served with the scambled eggs and smoked salmon.
Parking was very safe and secure. The garden room we stayed in was cozy and well equipped, with a great little patio area."
