"Had an exceptional stay at the Mandarin. Hotel decor is beautiful and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our room was spacious and bathroom positively palatial. Due to a misunderstanding over time we arrived at Ramsays 2 minutes before end of breakfast service and were graciously seated and served without fuss or the feeling of being hurried. Bravo Mandarin. "I found this property last minute, booking the day of travel. It is a gem! The employees were all so friendly and the history of the property (revolutionary war era) is fascinating! It was a 1-mile walk to historic Salem, MA. I can’t say enough good things about the Inn and especially the employees. Highly recommend this quaint, charming destination. "
