Looking across the water to the city was magical. The Ambasador is most likely the best place to stay in Split. "

"Beautiful hotel with a perfect location a few steps from the old town. Immaculately clean, large, comfortable modern rooms with every amenity. Lovely terrace, lounge and bar. Excellent breakfast with a variety of options and very good restaurant. Professional, helpful, friendly staff. We had a fantastic stay and can’t recommend it too highly."

"The hotel is excellent. You can go to the beach from lift. My room has a balcony so that every day I can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The breakfast is good in term of food and the environment. During my stay, my room door has issue and hotel staff fixed it immediately. And to apologize, they send me a bottle of red wine 👍👍 You can walk to old town in 15 min and on the way to old town , the view is good. "

"This hotel is very clean, rooms are luxurious and comfortable. We had a sea view room which was very scenic. At dinner you can see the sunset. We used the indoor pool and sauna frequently. From the back of hotel you have a pretty promenade for strolling at any point with connecting hotels and bars to dine at whilst overlooking the sea. I will definitely go back there again and stay at this hotel!!"

"Excellent experience all around! The reception, spa, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all fantastic and very helpful. The location is great- within walking distance of many restaurants and shops on the back side and immediately adjacent to a long sea-side promenade at the front. The common areas including the restaurant, spa, pool and beach are beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Also appreciated that the sea-side chairs and spa access are included. The room was also beautiful,...
