"We had a lovely stay at the Dome. The room was spacious and clean, also very quite. The Dome is in walking distance to cafés, hot pools, cocktail bar... which made our time there very enjoyable, my husband isn't able to walk a lot so the position was wonderful. Thankyou we will stay again ."

"Interesting historic place. Pleasant place to relax and a great base for exploring the Hawke's Bay. Spent 3 nights there, service is good and the staff very helpful. Stayed in the "William Nelson Suite" and we could relax on the verandah or in the grounds with its historic trees."

The cycle tracks along the sea-shore of Hawke's Bay are a great way to spend an afternoon or morning. We biked from Napiers' Marine Parade to the Haumoana market day, which took a couple of hours. The views are lovely, and there are ice-creams available at the end! Make sure you pack sun-block and a big bottle of water - the sun and heat can be super intense.
