"Room was comfortable and spacious. Hot water great. Staff very helpful. Complimentary glass of wine nice touch. Hotel maintenance could be better but must be difficult with these old buildings along the sea."

"Very comfortable and clean room, helpful staff and within walking distance to the town."

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."

"Standard room very small, but ok for three nights. "

"Very nice B&B, in good location. Just a couple of points to mention which was why I have only 4/5. - Room and en-suite smaller than expected, but still nice and comfortable - Breakfast was lovely, but would prefer being able to self serve juice and tea/coffee. Also a full English breakfast should use real sausages, rather than tiny chipolatas - Biggest issues was noise with voices and bathrooms clearly audible from other rooms late and night and early morning."

"Lovely room, very clean, delightful hosts, great breakfast-I would stay again!!!!"

"We had a 3 night stay here which was largely very enjoyable. We had a couple of minor issues which were resolved fairly quickly by the staff so they didn't impact our stay at all. Overall these things were minor, the lodge is in a lovely wooded area next to a pond which the kids loved....

"Very comfortable and easy stay, welcoming owners and outstanding breakfast."

"Idéal pour les familles Très pratique Hôtes sympathiques"

"We couldn't have had a more ideal accommodation for our stay with 2 teenage sons. The parking space was invaluable, as parking is an issue in Rye. EV charging at the back of the building opposite. Not the most scenic of settings, but safe and quiet and a few minutes' walk to everything in Rye. Super well equipped kitchen. Family seating in the lounge and very comfy beds. Good shower (although the grouting could do with a bit of TLC). Friendly welcome from the lady at the motel (which I presume...

"The accommodation was excellent and we had the best stay. The only problem was on checking in the the campsite as our info didn't match the caravan. We booked through the Tesco club card scheme, which on payment we couldn't use. So we paid in full. After payment we were contacted by Sykes holidays as the money went to them?? On arrival the campsite didn't recognise the info and said that we might have been scammed which was very worrying and confusing. We called the emergency number on the...
