"I like hotels with charm and character. This antique filled hotel fit the bill and was a great price (when booked well in advance). We stayed three nights. I was given a nice room upgrade to a suite. It is a great, central location. Service at the hotel was excellent.

"This is a well located old hotel that has been restored. Breakfast was mediocre but dinner in that same restaurant was very good. Rooms were clean and well maintained."

We were not thrilled with our room, which was tiny beyond tiny and unfortunately faced the street and was quite loud until really late at night even though there is nothing below, just people walking by, talking, laughing but somehow acoustics travels strange. "Good sized comfortable room in the back building. Quality bedding and toiletries. Problems with aircon - would not go lower than 22c.
No coffee making in room, only tea. This was a shame although coffee from the downstairs cafe was reasonable.
Breakfast offer was extensive and so fresh and the staff were exceptional, special mention to April.
The brasserie was good although several options nearby.
Would recommend this hotel and would consider staying again."
