"Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...

"Good location and use of a washing machine and drying rack in room. Towels and linens had holes, pillows hard. No one kept security gates locked etc. It’s fine for budget travel."

"Good location and helpful staff"

"Stunning building. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice touch having cans of still water in the fridge and a little bottle of fresh milk for the coffee and tea. Shower was easy to operate and towels were a generous size. Extractor fan turned on automatically once you are near the bathroom area. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. "The location of this hotel is fantastic, but parking is so expensive and in my opinion should be a reduced price for people staying in the hotels we ended up paying around £65 for 2 night stay parking which is to much. The hotel room was very small for a family room. And the room was super dark and outdated. Didn’t give you any amenities and the staff were not the most helpful."

"Was all fine apart from strangers blone hairs hanging off lamp in room and also lamp had never had a dust in what looked like many months. Didn't want to have a proper look around incase anything else was found!!"

"A very affordable and good value hotel. Large rooms and clean. Bathrooms have recently been refitted which look nice."

"You need to pay for parking and that is not mentioned while booking. Breakfast average with tasteless coffee , room clean."
