"The room was fairly basic, minimalist! There were no spare blankets available but the room had heat available in the hotel. The restaurant ordering was all by QR code - no cash. The food was good. The outer corridors was noisy until 9.45pm with small children running up and down and yelling unsupervised. I didn’t report it hoping the parents would act like parents!"

"This hotel was absolutely delightful, comfortable & full of character. The grounds were lovely and the staff were very friendly, polite and exceedingly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was way beyond our expectation of a buffet breakfast. There was a huge range of food available from a full English through to fruit, cereal & yoghurt. It was all delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, or to stay there again. We relaxed the minute we came through the door. ...

"Wij kwamen pas begin van de avond aan, en werd vriendelijk ontvangen door de dame van de receptie. Kamer was op de bovenste verdieping en was schoon en zag er mooi uit. Wij hebben daar ontbeten. Er was een ruime keuze eten en drinken. Was erg lekker. Zeker een aanrader."

"One of our rooms was very hot and loud because it’s near the extraction fan from the restaurant. Another room where my parents stayed, the heating was on (during a May heat wave) and the tap/showering water was boiling hot with no cold running at all. The staff came to check, said there are no spare rooms to switch to because of the bank holiday weekend. They called the manager, promised to give me an answer, but then I saw ran to her car and never showed again. I asked another staff member....
